Storm Damage Inspection

$0.00

The initial Storm Damage inspection
is a visual inspection, identifying storm damages (hail/wind).
Our job is to inspect and let you know of damages found:

1. Schedule your complimentary Storm Damage (hail/wind) Inspection -Book or Call with Office
Set up the date and time for a roof inspection.
2. A Local Rep will contact you when in route to and upon arrival to your property.
3. We will inspect your roof for hail or wind damage. After the inspection is complete, and storm damage was seen, we will gather the following information from you: Who your homeowner’s insurance company is? Have you filed a claim? Have you had your adjuster’s inspection? We ask these questions to effectively assist you and provide the hail/winds storm summary report.
4. A Local Rep will explain the insurance process, inspection findings, assessments, documentation or upgrades our team will provide to you during the process once you choose Local Roofing as your roofing contractor to work with.

How a roof replacement is calculated by storm damage?
Insurance carrier, adjusters, contractors and legal professionals use a third party pricing system called Xactimate, or a similar software, to determine how much a roof should cost based on your measurements and the location. This allows you, the homeowner, to see the broken down quote of the work your insurance company is paying for, which allows you to choose the roofer you prefer based on quality, rapport, experience and not settle for only the cheapest roofing contractor.
In the state of North Carolina, the insured policy holder is required ONLY to pay their deductible applicable to a claim made under the policy.

How does the Insurance Repair Estimate Work?
The insurance will send an adjuster to inspect the roof damages and, upon approval, will provide an estimate to repair or replace the roof. Adjuster’s use Xactimate/Symbility regulated pricing software to write the itemized estimate of the approved work scope.

Don't hesitate to ask us about financing your deductible. We offer in house financing (subject to certain amounts), outside financing at low rates. We can even discuss other savings avenues that may apply to you.
